Description

The Saro EB 40 is the larger bullet ice maker of the EB series, for restaurants, bars, hotels and catering operations that get through a lot of ice: about 40 to 50 kg in 24 hours, stored in a 10 kg bin, with cones of roughly Ø28 x 40 mm. It runs on a circulation system with a permanent mains water connection; the 3/4 inch supply hose and the 1/2 inch drain hose are included, and housing and flap are stainless steel.

It is air-cooled and rated for ambient temperatures from 10 to 40 °C and a water pressure of 1 to 3 bar; Saro recommends an upstream water softener above 7° water hardness. Connection 230 V, 50 Hz, 0.26 kW, refrigerant R290; external dimensions 496 x 610 x 831 mm, net weight 45 kg, with a five-year guarantee on the tub motor. The smaller EB 26 and the plug-in EB 15 PRO can be selected above.
