The Hoshizaki FM-1000 AKE-SB is a modular nugget ice maker for high-volume commercial operations, producing up to 860 kg of soft, chewable nugget ice per 24 hours from a single head unit running on a standard 230 V / 50 Hz supply. As a head-only unit, it pairs with your choice of compatible Hoshizaki modular bins and bases, giving kitchens, bars and hotel beverage stations the flexibility to configure storage capacity to match demand.
A closed water circuit with automated rinse cycle keeps the ice clean and the system hygienic with minimal manual intervention, while the intuitive digital display tracks worktime to flag maintenance before problems arise. Air-cooled and finished in stainless steel, the FM-1000 AKE-SB is built for busy professional environments where reliable output and easy servicing are non-negotiable — from large restaurant groups and hotel banqueting operations to high-throughput catering and healthcare facilities where nugget ice is the preferred format.
