Description
The WAS GN 86 is a GN 1/2 polypropylene gastronorm container from WAS Germany, holding 6.5 litres at a depth of 100 mm. Made from food-safe transparent PP, it handles temperatures from −40 °C to +80 °C, making it equally suited to blast-chilling, cold storage and hot-holding service lines.
The perforated base allows liquid drainage for salads, proteins and marinated ingredients, while the transparent body gives instant visual stock checks without opening. An inscribable lid and HACCP colour-coding clips are included in every pack, supporting allergen separation and traceability compliance out of the box. Containers are stackable and dishwasher-safe, reducing turnaround time in high-volume kitchens.
Supplied in packs of six, the WAS 8612100 is a practical choice for restaurant prep, hotel buffet lines, catering operations and deli counters where standardised GN storage, hygiene compliance and durability are daily requirements.
