Small flattening stone that trues the surface of a worn sharpening whetstone
Description
The Naniwa Flattening Stone A1905000 is a 175 x 55 x 30 mm stone used to flatten the surface of a sharpening whetstone that has become uneven with regular use. Running a flattening stone across a whetstone restores a level, consistent surface, so the sharpening angle and edge quality stay reliable on the next sharpening session.
A larger 300 x 150 x 20 mm flattening stone, code NA120, is also available for stones that need a bigger flattening surface. Both are companion tools to the Naniwa sharpening whetstones used in professional kitchens and butcheries.
