Description
Description
The Coldline W20U is a blast chiller and shock freezer cabinet from the MODI UP series, holding 20 × GN1/1 trays across 872 litres of interior volume — built for high-output professional kitchens in restaurants, hotels, catering operations and central production facilities. It blast-chills up to 88 kg of product from +90 °C to +3 °C, and shock-freezes up to 62 kg from +90 °C to −18 °C, with a working temperature range extending down to −40 °C. The unit operates at 6.45 kW on a 400 V supply and is rated for ambient temperatures up to 43 °C, making it suitable for hot and demanding kitchen environments.
Constructed entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel inside and out, the W20U uses CFC/HCFC-free insulation, an anti-corrosion evaporator with a removable stainless steel cover, and a built-in anti-odour system to maintain food safety and hygiene over heavy daily use. Refrigerant R452a and automatic hot gas defrost with auto condensation evaporation keep the system running cleanly with minimal intervention. The 4.3-inch touch display with USB port gives operators precise, fast cycle control.
- FSS Fast Service System: refrigeration module is front-accessible and field-replaceable, minimising downtime
- Self-closing, reversible door with 105° dwell and easy-replace magnetic gasket
- 60 mm insulation for stable holding temperatures even in warm service environments
