Description
Description
The Saro CARUS is an electric vegetable cutting machine for commercial kitchens, delivering a throughput of up to 250 kg/h on a 0.55 kW motor. Built in Germany with a stainless steel and aluminium housing, it handles cutting, grating and dicing across a wide range of produce — including vegetables, tomatoes, cheese, nuts and chocolate — making it a practical workhorse for restaurant prep lines, hotel kitchens and catering operations.
Five discs ship in the box: three graters (3 mm, 4.5 mm and 7 mm) and two slicers (2 mm and 4 mm), covering the most common prep tasks without additional investment. The semicircle hopper feeds product smoothly, while built-in motor overheating protection and two safety switches keep operation safe under sustained production loads.
