The Saro MERLE is an electric crepe maker for professional pancake and crepe production, built around a single 400 mm cast iron plate with a non-stick coating and a 3.0 kW heating element. The stainless steel housing keeps the unit robust and easy to clean on the line, while the adjustable thermostat — with a control and pilot lamp — lets cooks dial in any temperature between 50 °C and 300 °C to suit thin French-style crepes or thicker pancake batters.
Compact enough at 450 × 490 × 235 mm to fit a busy buffet station or live-cooking counter, the MERLE is well suited to hotel breakfast services, café kitchens, and catering operations that need consistent, repeatable results. It ships with a wooden batter spreader so the unit is ready to work straight out of the box.
