Description
Description
The IMC WasteStation F79/010 is a commercial food waste macerator and dewaterer designed for high-volume kitchens in restaurants, hotels, hospitals and catering operations, capable of processing up to 700 kg of food waste per hour — equivalent to 1,450 covers. The 5.5 HP motor grinds waste to fine particles, then centrifugal dewatering separates grey water to drain while dewatered solids are collected in lidded bins, reducing waste volume by up to 80%.
Built from AISI 304 stainless steel with an IP54-rated control panel, the F79/010 is engineered for demanding back-of-house environments. A WRAS-approved Class A air break hopper protects the water supply, while a built-in magnetic system blocks accidental cutlery ingestion and overload protection guards the motor. After each cycle, an automatic self-cleaning filter and self-rinsing system — featuring a rotating spiral with brushes — keep the unit ready for continuous service without manual intervention.
Running on a 380–415 V three-phase supply, the F79/010 fits within a compact 1000 × 700 × 900 mm footprint and connects to standard 15 mm hot and cold water lines, making it a practical fit for new builds and kitchen refits alike.
