Description

The Supra round Sharpening Steel SY05030B is a professional honing steel with a 30 cm (12 in) rod, used to maintain and realign the cutting edge of kitchen knives between sharpenings rather than to remove metal. It suits butcheries, professional kitchens and catering operations that hone knives daily; its round cross-section suits everyday honing across most blade shapes.

The rod has a polished finish. Ambrogio Sanelli is an Italian cutlery maker whose catalogue is marked "Professional Knives since 1864", and the Supra line is made in Premana, Italy.
