Description
The Sirman Ster UV 16W is a UV knife sterilizer for professional kitchens, holding up to 15 knives with blades up to 310 mm in length and sterilizing them using two 8 W UV mercury vapour lamps. Made in Italy from AISI 430 stainless steel, it draws just 0.07 kW — making it an efficient, low-footprint hygiene solution for restaurants, hotels, catering operations and butchery counters.
The removable see-through plexiglass knife holder allows sterilization without rotating the knives, and the adjustable timer runs up to 120 minutes to suit different cycle requirements. A built-in safety microswitch keeps the lamps on when the smoked plexiglass door is open and cuts them off automatically when it closes, protecting kitchen staff during loading and unloading.
