Description
The Saro TEXEL (model 458-1070) is a freestanding stainless steel hand wash basin for professional kitchens, food-service operations and hospitality environments, standing 910 mm tall on a floor-mounted frame with a compact 400 × 400 mm footprint. Its round bowl — 350 mm in diameter and 160 mm deep — is purpose-sized for quick hand-washing at prep stations, pass-throughs or washrooms where wall mounting is impractical.
Hands-free operation is built in: the foot pump controls water flow without any hand contact, making the TEXEL well suited to HACCP-compliant hygiene workflows in restaurants, hotel kitchens and catering facilities. The unit connects directly to a fixed ½-inch mains supply and ships with an upstand splashback included, keeping surrounding surfaces dry without additional fitout work.
Fabricated from stainless steel and manufactured in Portugal, the TEXEL delivers the durability and easy-clean finish demanded by daily commercial use. At 11.5 kg it is light enough to position where it is needed most.
