Description
The Saro BD 501 S is a static chest freezer for the professional frozen storage of food in restaurants, commercial kitchens, canteens, takeaway outlets, catering operations and commercial storage areas. It has a 4-star compartment suitable for freezing and storage of up to 12 months, a net capacity of 514 litres (516 litres gross), and two baskets, 330 x 544 x 320 mm, for organising smaller items. The housing is white stove-enamelled steel, the interior aluminium and the lid stainless steel.
It runs on static cooling with manual defrost and 90 mm insulation, keeps contents below -18 °C, and is rated for climate classes 4 and 5. Digital temperature control (Dixell/Copeland) sits on the front panel, and the unit stands on four wheels, 83 mm high. Connection 230 V, 50 Hz, 0.190 kW, refrigerant R600a; external dimensions 1835 x 730 x 970 mm, net weight 89 kg, energy efficiency class E.
