Description
The Saro 5518 combines a non-contact infrared thermometer with a folding 110 mm stainless steel probe for core-temperature checks, covering the cold chain, storage, transport and kitchen use. Infrared readings run -50 to +380 °C and probe readings -30 to +300 °C, both shown in 0.1 °C steps and switchable between °C and °F, with emissivity fixed at 0.95.
The ABS plastic and stainless steel body is waterproof to IP54, has a hold function, a backlit display and automatic shutdown, and runs on two CR2032 batteries, not included. External dimensions are L174 x W18 x H38 mm and it weighs 0.093 kg net (0.1 kg gross).
