Sanelli Ambrogio Tuberpack Truffle Packaging A1768000, 6 cm

The Tuberpack A1768000 from Ambrogio Sanelli is a patented packaging system for truffles with a 6 cm internal diameter and a 5 cm usable height, built for delis, specialist food shops and restaurants that display and sell truffles. A sealed barrier bag inside the pack keeps the truffle visible without direct contact, so customers can see it without handling it.

The barrier bag is heat sealed rather than vacuum packed, and it holds in the truffle's aroma while slowing weight loss to about 3% against the 10 to 15% typical of open-air storage, provided the pack is kept at the correct temperature. At the moment of use the truffle keeps its full aroma and flavour, as if freshly harvested.

The same Tuberpack is also supplied in a single cardboard hanging box for shops that display it on a hook or a hanging bar.
