Description
Description
The La San Marco SMG 50 is an undercounter cube ice maker for bars, restaurants, hotels and cafés, producing up to 21 kg of solid, high-density crystal-clear cubes per 24 hours from a compact 600 × 600 × 800 mm footprint at just 0.55 kW. Rated Tropical class, it operates reliably in ambient temperatures up to 43 °C, making it equally suited to air-conditioned European kitchens and hot open-kitchen environments across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Ice quality is driven by a horizontal copper evaporator with a downward-facing conic-cup spray system, a design that ensures uniform freezing and consistent cube density batch after batch. The fully automatic electronic control board handles both production cycles and cleaning routines without manual intervention, reducing labour overhead in busy service environments.
Built entirely in stainless steel inside and out, the SMG 50 is engineered for straightforward maintenance: external panels detach without tools and the door removes completely for thorough internal cleaning — a practical advantage when hygiene audits matter. Its ADA-compliant undercounter profile integrates cleanly beneath standard bar counters or service stations wherever reliable, high-clarity ice is a daily requirement.
