Description
Description
The La San Marco SMG 20 is an undercounter cube ice maker for light commercial and hospitality use, producing up to 10 kg of solid conical ice per day at just 0.28 kW. Its compact 600 × 600 × 800 mm stainless steel housing slides neatly beneath a bar counter or service station, fitting standard ADA and international undercounter footprints without cutting into valuable floor space.
Ice forms via a spray system onto a horizontal copper evaporator, with hot-gas cycle release into the storage bin — a proven method that delivers consistent, clear cube quality. The electronic control board automates both production and cleaning cycles, and the unit is rated for tropical climates (Class T), handling ambient temperatures up to 43 °C, making it a reliable choice for hotel bars, outdoor stands, discotheque service areas, and café counters where kitchen conditions run warm.
Maintenance is straightforward: external housing panels and the front door are removable for full internal access. The SMG 20 works equally well as a standalone point-of-service ice source or as a supplementary front-of-house unit alongside larger back-of-house production machines — a practical fit for hotels, bars, and light catering operations that need consistent ice at the point of use.
