Smart Instant Espresso Grinder, 64 mm, 0.65 kW

The La San Marco SM 92 Smart Instant is a professional on-demand espresso coffee grinder for high-volume café, restaurant and hotel bar use, built around 64 mm flat steel burrs hardened with a carbo-nitriding surface treatment and driven at 1,350 rpm via a direct-drive motor. It delivers a 7.5 g dose in approximately 3 seconds and can sustain up to 8.5 kg/h throughput, keeping pace with busy service without interruption.

The SM 92 Smart Instant's Hands Free system automatically detects whether a single- or double-spout portafilter basket is presented and holds it securely during grinding — freeing the barista for other tasks. Grind fineness is set via a stepless centesimal adjustment ring with 1/100 mm precision, and dose management is handled through a touch keypad with programmable grinding-time dosing plus single, double and total dose counters. Infrared optical sensors and a portafilter-holder micro switch add a further layer of operational safety.

Available in 13 colour options including chromed, black and grey, the SM 92 Smart Instant integrates cleanly into branded bar environments. It suits specialty coffee shops, hotel F&B operations and any espresso bar where consistent dosing speed and minimal barista intervention are priorities.
