Description

The Krampouz GECID5AO is a large professional contact grill and panini press for high-volume restaurant, hotel, and café service, delivering 3.76 kW across a 520 × 230 mm ribbed cooking surface split into two independent zones. Built in France, it uses Krampouz's patented 'Pack Resistance' technology to distribute heat evenly from 50 °C up to 300 °C, controlled by a precision mechanical thermostat with an integrated on/off switch — giving line cooks repeatable results across panini, sandwiches, meat, and vegetables.

The upper plate consists of two auto-balancing ribbed half-plates with an adjustable pressure spring, so uneven or thick products press evenly without manual intervention. All enamelled cast-iron plates detach in roughly 25 seconds for dishwasher cleaning or a quick swap to an alternative plate type, while a handled removable drip tray keeps the stainless steel countertop chassis clean during service. The heat-resistant handle and compact tabletop footprint make this grill a practical fit for sandwich bars, hotel breakfast stations, and busy à-la-carte kitchens that need consistent, high-throughput grilling with minimal downtime for cleaning.
