Description
The Imesa MCA 180 is a professional flatwork ironing calender (roller ironer) for commercial laundries, hotels and hospitality operations, combining drying and ironing in a single pass across an 1,880 mm working width with a 330 mm chrome-plated roller. Available in electric (25.2 kW) or gas (24.6 kW) variants, it accepts linen at up to 50 % residual moisture and processes it at a continuously variable speed of 1–6 m/min, automatically adjusted by an inverter based on live temperature and moisture readings.
The MCA 180 is built for high-volume throughput with operator safety and energy efficiency in mind. NOMEX ironing belts withstand sustained high temperatures, while the cooldown function cuts heating and runs the machine on stored thermal energy before auto-switching off below 80 °C — reducing electricity or gas consumption during downtime. Two large collection and introduction tables keep linen off the floor, the machine can be installed against a wall to save floor space, and an optional remote foot pedal reverses roller rotation to eject linen without hand contact.
Operator safety is covered by two emergency stop buttons (one on each side) and a hand safety bar that halts the roller on contact, with all moving parts enclosed during the ironing cycle. The colour touchscreen microprocessor controller stores unlimited programs with 10 modifiable presets.
