For petrol stations, kiosks and supermarkets that sell ice cream off the shelf, this 267L chest freezer keeps stock cold and visible under two flat sliding glass lids. Baskets are sold as an accessory rather than included, so it suits shops and kiosks happy to fit their own.
It moves on wheels for easy repositioning. A mechanical controller holds the temperature at -23 to -16°C via static cooling; running cost works out to 628kWh a year (class D). Noise is a modest 49 dB(A). An interior LED light means the display still reads well after dark.
