Description

The Hoshizaki KM-140C-HC is a self-contained crescent ice maker for restaurants, hotels, bars and catering operations, producing up to 138 kg of ice per 24 hours and storing up to 55 kg in its integrated bin. Running on a single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply at just 0.564 kW, it delivers a consistent output of Hoshizaki's signature Crescent Edge ice — slow-melting, clear cubes that displace less liquid than conventional shapes, making them a practical choice for high-volume beverage service.

The KM-140C-HC is built around Hoshizaki's CycleSaver® double-sided stainless steel evaporator, completing a freeze cycle in approximately 21 minutes and producing around 208 pieces (1.87 kg) per cycle. The R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant keeps the environmental footprint low, while the EverCheck™ LED control board with audible fault alarms simplifies monitoring during busy service. All air intake and outflow are front-facing, and the slide-in air filter is front-accessible, making the unit suitable for built-in counter or under-counter installation without rear clearance constraints.
