Description
Description
The Hoshizaki FM-60 KE-HC is a self-contained undercounter flake ice maker producing up to 65 kg of flake ice per 24 hours, designed for restaurants, hotels, cafés, fishmongers and catering operations where a steady supply of soft, moldable ice is essential. Air-cooled and compact enough to fit beneath a standard counter, it stores up to 18 kg of ice in its built-in bin and draws just 0.27 kW — making it an efficient, space-saving choice for busy service environments.
Hoshizaki's CleanCycle6 hygiene system automatically rinses the water circuit every six hours, while the closed water circuit and grease-free carbon graphite bushings reduce maintenance demands and contamination risk. The electronic controller features a worktime-based preventive maintenance alert, and the unit runs on the low-GWP refrigerant R290 (GWP: 3), keeping the environmental footprint minimal. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from 5 °C up to 40 °C, suiting hot kitchen and back-of-house conditions year-round.
Built in the UK and certified CE and EAC, the FM-60 KE-HC ships with a scoop and installation kit. The optional 4HC-H water filtration kit is available separately to protect ice quality and extend service intervals.
