Description
Description
The Hoshizaki FM-300 AKE HC-SB is a modular self-contained flake ice maker from the Hoshizaki Emerald Class HC series, producing up to 300 kg of soft flake ice per 24 hours — suited to fishmongers, seafood restaurants, hotel buffets, healthcare catering and food retail display counters where gentle, moisture-retaining ice is essential.
The FM-300 AKE HC runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, delivering 12.2% energy savings compared to the HFC-equivalent model. Its auger mechanism uses a double-hardened stainless steel auger with carbon graphite bushings for fully grease-free operation, minimising maintenance downtime. The closed water circuit converts all incoming water to ice — zero waste water discharge — while the intuitive digital display provides preventive maintenance alerts to keep service intervals predictable.
This is a head unit only; a separate compatible ice storage bin is required (SB suffix indicates stainless bin compatibility). The stainless steel exterior and compact 560 × 700 × 780 mm footprint make it easy to integrate into existing back-of-house or counter installations on 230 V / 50 Hz supply.
