Description
The Hoshizaki FM-150 AKE-HCN-SB is a modular nugget ice maker for restaurants, hotels, bars and catering operations, producing up to 140 kg of nugget ice per 24 hours under cool conditions and a reliable 100 kg/24h even at 32 °C ambient. Part of the Hoshizaki Emerald Class range, it runs on the natural R290 refrigerant and draws just 0.405 kW, making it one of the more energy-efficient options at this output level.
The FM auger system with high-compression extruding head delivers consistently formed nugget ice, while a closed water circuit converts virtually all incoming water to ice — minimising waste. The stainless steel exterior and double-hardened stainless steel auger with carbon bearings are built for continuous commercial use. Microcomputer control keeps operation straightforward for kitchen staff.
This is a head unit only; pair it with a compatible Hoshizaki B-301SA, B-501SA or B-801SA storage bin (up to approximately 348 kg capacity) to complete the installation. The compact 560 × 700 × 780 mm footprint suits tight back-of-house layouts in hotels, cocktail bars and high-volume food service environments.
