Hood Dishwasher, Heat Recovery, 60 Racks/h, 7.1 kW

The Hobart AMXR-10A is a hood-type pass-through dishwasher with integrated drain water heat recovery, capable of washing up to 60 racks, 1,080 plates, or 2,160 glasses per hour. Designed for busy restaurant, hotel, and catering kitchens, it accepts racks up to 500 × 500 mm with a loading height of 440 mm, and uses just 1.8 litres of water per rack — making it one of the more resource-efficient machines in its class.

The fully enclosed, 4-sided insulated hood eliminates the need for a ventilation canopy and keeps noise to 63 dB(A). The GENIUS-X² fine filter system with integrated prewash cuts detergent consumption by up to 35%, while the drain heat recovery unit uses 60 °C waste water to pre-heat incoming fresh water, saving up to 15% on total energy use. Six automatic wash programmes — including starch-removal and hygiene cycles — are selected via the VISIOTRONIC-TOUCH colour touchscreen. Operational data can be exported via USB or monitored remotely through the integrated Wi-Fi SmartConnect module.

The AMXR-10A installs in straight-through or corner configurations and ships with a full set of dispensers, pumps, and racks included. For sites with hard water, an optional integrated water softener is available in the AMXRS-10A variant. The optional VAPOSTOP ER exhaust air heat recovery unit (order no. SEF-25/045) further reduces energy consumption by up to 10% and prevents vapour escaping when the hood is raised.
