Description
Description
The Hatco FTBX-1 is a drop-in frost top designed for cold display and food holding at serve-over counters and buffet lines, accommodating one full-size sheet pan (457 × 660 mm) within a compact 735 mm wide footprint. It uses cold wall construction with an aluminized steel housing and R-513A refrigerant, and includes a solenoid valve — the condensing unit is supplied by others and can be located up to 15.24 m of tubing away, making it well suited for clean, equipment-free counter installations. The unit is NSF 7 certified and manufactured in the USA.
An electronic temperature controller handles automatic defrost and ships loose with 4.9 m probe wires, so it can be mounted remotely from the unit for a tidy counter finish. A half-size pan accessory (457 × 330 mm) is available for flexible pan configurations. The FTBX-1 is the right choice for restaurants, hotels, catering operations and buffet setups that need a reliable, low-profile chilled surface integrated into an existing refrigeration system.
