Description
Description
The Hatco FTB-1 is a drop-in frost top cold well designed to keep ingredients and prepared foods chilled directly within a countertop or serving line, drawing just 0.8 kW on a single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz supply. Built in the USA and certified to cULus and NSF standards, it suits high-volume restaurants, hotel buffet counters, and catering operations that need reliable, self-contained refrigeration built into their service surface.
The condensing unit ships loose and can be positioned remotely, with the electronic temperature control panel mountable on either side of the unit or placed up to 1,219 mm away — giving installers genuine flexibility in tight back-of-house layouts. Automatic defrost keeps the frost top running without manual intervention, and the aluminized steel housing stands up to daily commercial use.
The FTB-1 accepts one full-size sheet pan, making it a focused, space-efficient solution for operations that need a single dedicated cold zone integrated flush into their counter rather than a freestanding reach-in.
