Description

The Grease Guardian D2 is an automatic grease removal unit (GRU) designed for under-sink installation at commercial sinks and ovens, handling flows up to 1.25 l/s within a 45-litre stainless steel tank. Built from 16-gauge AISI 304 stainless steel with a bright exterior finish, it suits restaurants, hotels, catering kitchens and any food-service operation required to intercept fats, oils and grease before they enter the drainage system.

Grease separation runs automatically on a programmable 24-hour, 7-day PLC-Smartech digital controller, with one to three skimming wheels removing up to 2 litres of grease per wheel per hour. The integrated Filter-Basket captures solid waste in a dedicated 4-litre strainer, and Eco-Mode reduces operating power draw where duty cycles allow. An optional audio alarm and mounting frames are available for sites that need them.

The D2 carries a warranty of up to five years on the tank and one to three years on parts, making it a low-maintenance, long-term investment for kitchens facing strict grease management compliance.
