Description

The EatGood LightFry 12E is a commercial ventless oil-free deep fryer for restaurants, hotels, ghost kitchens and high-volume catering operations that need fried-food output without a traditional extraction hood. Made in Sweden, it uses a two-phase cooking process — a steam phase for thorough cooking followed by a hot dry-air crisp phase in a rotating basket inside a closed stainless-steel oven chamber — to deliver results that match conventional frying without any oil. At 16 kW connected load, it draws just 9.5 kW on average during an active cook cycle, and can turn out up to 22 kg of product per hour: 600 g of 6×6 mm French fries are done in under four and a half minutes.

Installation flexibility is a key advantage. The LightFry 12E can run under a built-in extraction hood, a standard ventilation hood with duct fan, or a custom LightFry ventless hood for truly hood-free placement on the cook line — ideal for open kitchens or locations where duct work is impractical. The touchscreen control panel stores up to 30 pre-programmable food programs for consistent, operator-independent results across service shifts. An automated integrated wash system brings the oven chamber to approximately 98% clean after each cleaning cycle, keeping labour costs low during turnaround.

The unit suits busy QSR, hotel banqueting, and stadium concession environments where throughput, energy efficiency and ease of cleaning are non-negotiable. A left-mounted display variant (LF Left Mounted) is available for lines where the standard right-side touchscreen position does not fit the workflow.
