Description
16.5 m³ of chilled storage at a constant 0 to +8°C gives central production kitchens, wholesalers and caterers a genuine walk-in store rather than a bank of cabinets. On a 3000 × 3000 mm footprint standing 2200 mm tall, the interior keeps 2040 mm of headroom, with space for shelving runs on several sides and a trolley down the middle. The hinged solid door (700 × 1845 mm) locks to secure stock, LED lighting keeps the back shelves visible, and an electronic controller with temperature display manages the automatic hot-gas defrost.
The room is supplied as modular insulated panels with the floor included and assembled on site, finished in white inside and out. Plug-in R290 refrigeration runs from a standard 220–240 V supply, using about 25.92 kWh per 24 hours (9461 kWh a year) at 60 dB(A).
