The Maxima Boiling Pan, 300 L, Indirect, Gas is a round stainless steel boiling pan for professional kitchens and catering operations that cook large volumes of soups, sauces, broths and other liquid dishes: a net capacity of 300 litres with an indirect heating system, where a water-filled double wall spreads the heat evenly instead of applying it directly to the base, so food does not scorch. A safety thermostat guards against a low water level, and a pressure relief valve with a gauge controls the steam pressure. The counterweighted lid opens and closes with one hand, and a drain valve empties the pan for serving or cleaning.
