Description
Description
The Alpfrigo KW3 is a refrigerated salad bar — a self-service cold display counter — holding three GN 1/1 containers and maintaining food temperatures between +3 °C and +10 °C, certified to ISO 23953:2005. Forced-air dynamic cooling delivers a cold air layer over the food from above while a cold airstream feeds into the cooled container from below, keeping every bowl consistently chilled without hot spots. Automatic electric defrost and an electronic controller handle temperature maintenance hands-free, making day-to-day operation straightforward for busy front-of-house teams.
Built for restaurants, hotel buffet lines, and cafés, the KW3 combines a pre-painted frame and warm wood paneling with stainless steel Ronda condiment inserts — a practical aesthetic that fits both casual and upscale service environments. The manually raised or lowered glass superstructure protects the display between service periods, while the neutral display area alongside the GN bays accommodates plastic salad bowls or ceramic plates for true self-service setups. Interior stainless steel surfaces are easy to clean, and the unit draws just 0.23 kW, keeping running costs low even in high-traffic operations.
