Description

The Saro LIVORNO is an electric food slicer for professional kitchens, delis, and catering operations, built around a 220 mm hardened, chrome-plated steel blade that cuts from paper-thin up to 9 mm thick. Its gravity inclined-carriage design guides food smoothly through the blade with each pass, while the belt-drive motor draws just 0.12 kW — keeping noise and energy use low during busy service prep.

The die-cast aluminium alloy housing keeps the unit rigid and easy to clean at only 16 kg, compact enough for most prep counters. A built-in knife sharpener maintains blade edge without removing the slicer from the line, and a blade guard ring is included as standard for safer handling. The LIVORNO is designed for intermittent use and is not suitable for slicing soft cheese; it is CE-compliant and backed by a 24-month warranty.
