Description
The OEM PF50MTE is a hot pizza base press from the Pressform PFMT Professional series, designed for high-volume pizza production in restaurants, pizzerias, hotels and catering operations. Running on 400 V and drawing 6.55 kW, it presses dough bases from 330 mm up to 500 mm in diameter in a 3-second cycle, delivering up to 300 formed bases per hour. Durability is validated at over 1.1 million press cycles, making it a reliable workhorse for continuous service.
The machine uses a recirculating ball bearing mechanism paired with heated upper and lower plates — thicker than standard for superior heat retention — ensuring consistent, repeatable results across every press. Operators can choose a flared upper plate for automatic crust-edge formation or a fully smooth plate for flat discs, and dough thickness is dialled in precisely via a front-panel knob. Safety is handled by a plexiglass guard, dual micro-switches and motor thermal protection.
