Built-In Electric Knockbox, 120 mm, NSF

The Pro-Fondi EVO is a built-in electric coffee grounds knockbox for portafilters, designed to drop flush into a counter through a 120 mm hole and requiring a minimum of 155 mm of under-counter clearance. Made by Ambrodesign of Verona, Italy, it activates automatically via two photocells the moment a barista presents the portafilter — no buttons, no contact — running a 2-second cleaning cycle with automatic rotation reversal to clear grounds cleanly and consistently. NSF certified and supplied with two polyurethane G-ONE impellers covering 53–54 mm and 57–58 mm basket sizes, it suits virtually any espresso setup out of the box.

The Pro-Fondi EVO is built for high-volume coffee bars, hotel breakfast operations, and specialty café counters where speed and hygiene at the grinder station matter. The digital touch on/off control and compact 1.5 kg unit keep installation straightforward; a surface-mount kit (KIEEVO accessory) is available for bars where counter cut-out is not an option. The wide-range power adapter (100–240 V AC) means the unit travels well across international installations.
