Description

The Josper HJX-50 LBC is a floor-standing charcoal broiler oven with integrated cupboard base and grid plate holder, designed for high-volume restaurants, steakhouses, hotels and catering operations that demand authentic open-fire cooking at scale. Running on 100% charcoal combustion within an enclosed chamber, it reaches operating temperatures between 250 °C and 350 °C and delivers up to 110 kg of product per hour — enough to serve approximately 175 diners per service on a single charcoal load that lasts up to 9 hours.

The LBC configuration adds a lockable cupboard base for charcoal and tool storage, while the built-in antispark and antiparticulates safety system, PM filter, ash drawer and cooled flue keep the kitchen compliant and safe — requiring a dedicated exhaust extraction rate of 3,800 m³/h. Temperature and combustion intensity are managed mechanically via the smoke-exit regulation vent and air-entry control with safety lock, keeping operation straightforward even during peak service. The unit ships in two bundles and carries CE, FCS, PG, TÜV (ISO 9001:2015) and AFRPCC AB28 certifications.

Note that one grill rack, the Firebreak and Firebreak hat are not included in standard delivery and must be ordered separately. Average fire-up time is 40 minutes, so plan ignition well ahead of service.
