Description

The Josper HJX50LACXP is a professional charcoal broiler oven with cabinet base for high-volume restaurants, steakhouses, and hotels that demand authentic live-fire cooking at scale. Running entirely on charcoal, its closed barbecue design reaches a maximum of 560 °C — with a typical operating range of 250–350 °C — and can serve approximately 150–175 diners per day, making it one of Josper's highest-capacity HJX-series units.

A single charcoal load sustains nine hours of service, with throughput reaching around 110 kg per hour across the 760 × 750 mm cast iron grill rack. Heat is regulated manually through air vents below the charcoal grate and a butterfly vent on the exhaust, giving the chef precise, hands-on flame control. The ACXP package adds a GN direct-cooking cookware set for the oven chamber — accommodating both GN 1/1 and GN 1/2 pans — broadening the unit beyond grilling into roasting and baking applications. The cabinet base integrates storage and a heat cupboard, keeping the footprint efficient in a live kitchen.

Built from stainless steel and cast iron and certified CE, UL, NSF, GOST, and TR, the HJX50LACXP ships with a cooking grill rack, Josper tongs, ash hatch and handle, ash pan, and charcoal grates — everything needed to fire up in approximately 40 minutes and begin service. It is the right choice for brigade kitchens and open-kitchen concepts where charcoal flavour and high throughput are non-negotiable.
