Description

The Josper HJX-50L is a charcoal broiler oven with cupboard base, designed for high-volume restaurants, hotels and steakhouses that demand authentic charcoal flavour at serious throughput. This closed charcoal oven combines grill and oven in a single unit, reaching temperatures between 250 °C and 560 °C and delivering around 110 kg of grilled product per hour — enough to serve approximately 175 diners a day from one machine. A single charcoal load fuels up to 9 hours of continuous service, with a preheat time of roughly 40 minutes.

Built from stainless steel and cast iron, the HJX-50L operates on 100% lump charcoal, using conduction, convection and direct ember radiation simultaneously to produce results no gas or electric alternative can replicate. The large cast iron grill rack accommodates two GN1/1 and two GN1/2 pans, while the integrated cupboard base provides practical on-station storage. An external temperature thermometer gives the chef clear read-outs without opening the door, and the unit ships complete with tongs, ash pan, ash hatch and charcoal grates.

CE-certified and engineered for demanding professional kitchens, the Josper HJX-50L suits high-turnover à la carte restaurants, hotel banqueting kitchens and premium grill concepts where charcoal cooking is central to the menu.
