Description
The Josper HJX-45-M is a countertop charcoal broiler oven combining full grill and oven functions in a single bench-top unit, fuelled exclusively by wood charcoal. Running at temperatures between 250 °C and 350 °C, it delivers the authentic charcoal flavour and intense radiant heat that define Josper's reputation — without requiring a floor-standing installation. The unit reaches operating temperature in approximately 35 minutes and sustains continuous service for up to 9 hours per charcoal load, consuming 12–16 kg of charcoal per day.
With a throughput of around 90 kg/h and capacity sized for roughly 120 covers, the HJX-45-M suits high-volume à la carte restaurants, steakhouses, hotel kitchens and catering operations where consistent charcoal cooking at scale is non-negotiable. Temperature is managed through a vent and damper system, keeping control simple and reliable during service. An integrated ash collection tank below the cooking chamber contains debris cleanly, reducing downtime during and after service.
The countertop format makes the HJX-45-M practical for kitchens where space or structural constraints rule out a full floor unit, while the 760 × 510 mm grill surface and two GN 1/1 positions ensure genuine production capacity. It requires only a standard 4.5 kW electrical connection for auxiliary functions, with all cooking heat generated by the charcoal itself.
