Description
The Josper HJX38 is a countertop charcoal broiler oven — a closed barbecue combining grill and oven functions in a single unit — designed for professional kitchens serving up to approximately 40 covers per service. Running exclusively on wood charcoal with no gas or electric heat source, it reaches operating temperatures between 300 °C and 350 °C and can deliver around 25 kg of product per hour, making it well-suited to steakhouses, hotel restaurants, and high-volume à la carte operations.
Temperature is managed entirely through Josper's manual upper and lower vent/damper system, giving the chef direct control over the cooking environment. A single charge of charcoal sustains up to seven hours of operation at a consumption rate of 6–8 kg per day; ignition takes approximately 25 minutes. The unit is certified CE, UL, GOST and TR, and is built from proprietary Josper high-technology steel alloys for long-term durability under daily high-heat use.
