Description
Description
The Grease Guardian D3 is an automatic grease removal device (AGRD) for commercial kitchens, handling a flow rate of 1.75 l/s from a free-standing, 75-litre stainless steel unit. Built for restaurants, hotels, catering operations and any high-throughput food service site that must comply with drain and FOG regulations, the D3 separates fats, oils and grease continuously without manual intervention.
Two standard skimming wheels — configurable between one and three — remove collected grease at 2 litres per hour per wheel into a front-loading collector, while a 6.4-litre solid strainer captures food solids before they reach the trap. Automated skimming cycles are managed by a 24-hour, 7-day multi-functional digital PLC with Eco-Mode and PLC-Smartech programming, keeping energy use and operator involvement to a minimum. Side-mounted Ø90 mm inlet and outlet connections can be mirrored for left or right pipework layouts, and optional accessories include frames, non-standard flanges, ST traps and an audio alarm.
The 16-gauge stainless steel exterior with bright finish suits both under-counter and back-of-house installations where durability and hygiene standards are non-negotiable.
