OVE Amarone Gold Table Fork, 213 mm, 18/10 Steel

The OVE Amarone Gold table fork measures 213 mm and is made from 18/10 stainless steel at 4 mm thickness, giving it the weight and rigidity expected on a laid table rather than the flex of lighter-gauge flatware.

The gold finish is applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD): solid metal is evaporated in a high vacuum and combined with a reactive gas, which settles as an ultra-thin, strongly adhering colour layer bonded to the steel. Unlike a plated finish this survives commercial dishwashing, so the fork can go through normal wash cycles.
