Cambro Camchiller Cold Plate CP2632, GN 1/2

A Cambro insulated carrier holds safe temperatures for about four hours unaided. The Camchiller extends that. Freeze the plate flat overnight, slide it onto the rails above your chilled food, and the carrier keeps holding well past four hours with no power, no ice and no meltwater in the food.

It earns its place most where the carrier is opened repeatedly rather than left closed — a service line, a buffet being refilled, a field kitchen where the lid comes off every few minutes. Every opening costs cold, and the plate puts it back.

This is the half-size plate at 325 x 265 x 30 mm, sized to GN 1/2. For full-width carriers, the GN 1/1 version covers the whole footprint.
