The MDC1418S20 runs a tray line to the ward, the dining room or the residents and keeps hot food hot and cold food cold on the way, without a plug. It carries 20 trays of 36 x 46 cm, ten in each of two compartments.

Being non-electric is the point: there is no cord to route, nothing to preheat and nothing to fail mid-service, so the cart can be loaded at the servery and wheeled wherever it is needed. The interior is 470 x 715 x 740 mm per compartment and wipes down easily.

It rolls on 127 mm casters, two swivel with brakes and two rigid and offset, which is the combination that tracks straight down a corridor instead of wandering. Overall it measures 826 x 1232 x 1118 mm.
